TRUTH CAMPAIGN

In the Holy Bible, many disciples gave up everything to follow Jesus. They sold their possessions, left their families, etc. Some disciples had been following the Lord for quite some time. But then abruptly, many disciples stopped following Jesus. João 6,66 is the very first recorded Christian apostasy. Many disciples stopped following Jesus and went back to their former ways of living.

Why did many disciples stop following Jesus?…

• Is the Bread of Life Discourse in John chapter 6 a symbolic teaching, where eating his flesh and drinking his blood means to “spiritual believe?” If so, why did many disciples stop following Jesus? – Click

• Was Jesus speaking symbolically in John chapter 6:63? If so, why did many disciples stop following Jesus? – Click

• Believing in Jesus guarantees eternal life according to John chapter 6. The Lord taught this in many other verses in the Holy Bible. Did disciples stop following Jesus in those verses? – Click

• When Jesus spoke of metaphors in other verses of the Holy Bible (e.g., I am the vine), did the disciples stop following Jesus? – Click

• In John 6:44, did the disciples leave because God the Father did not “draw” them to Jesus? – Click

• Did Jesus “exaggerate” his bread of life teachings which caused his disciples to leave? – Click

• When Jesus spoke about eating his flesh and drinking his blood, did the disciples leave because they thought Jesus taught cannibalism? – Click
